Miracle-Gro Evergreen Shady Lawn Seed if specially formulated for creating a new lawn, overseeding or for repairing bare patches, in shady and dry areas. Drought tolerant, it contains unique WaterSmart grass technology for optimum water and nutrient absorption for strong root growth and development.

With a unique mix of fescues including Hard and Browntop bent premium sports grade seed as used by professionals. This lawn mix does not contain any Ryegrass and produces a fine dense lawn. This pack will cover 14m2 at 30 grams/m² application rate. Germination in ideal conditions when the soil is moist will start to show in 7-10 days, less favourable conditions 10-14 days. Application March to October when the risk of frost has passed.

• Rake the area removing all weeds, stones or dead grass. If over-seeding ensure you mow the grass short first. Lightly cover the area with a lawn dressing level and firm by treading the soil.
• Shake the box to mix the seeds. If over seeding apply 20g/m2 ( approx half a hand full) and for new lawns or bare patches 30g/m2. Using the handy sprinkler on the side of the box, create a criss- cross pattern by sowing half the seed from left to right and the rest from top to bottom. Gently rake in and tread the seeds so they are in contact with the soil.
• Water the area well so it is soaked, keeping the soil moist for the next few weeks. Hose pipes and watering accessories are available by clicking here.
