Tomato Starter with rootgrow™ mycorrhizal fungi is the perfect way to get the absolute best from your fruiting crops as the product is biologically active, and it has been designed to promote strong healthy plant development for the entire growing season.

When your seedlings are ready to be potted on to their final growing position the individual coir biscuits are simply placed under the root ball where they slowly release nutrients as your plants grow helping them develop a health root network for optimum water and nutrient intake.

Containing Rootgrow™ this specialist mycorrhizal fungi naturally bonds to the roots of the plants, effectively becoming part of the root system. Roots then prosper and grow quickly seeking out nutrients and water. The fungi tracks down phosphorus and potassium and other trace elements for improved flowering and fruiting, holding onto water like a sponge making the crops more drought tolerant.

One pack of Empathy Tomato Starter has 6 nutrition biscuits each weighing 16 grams. In addition to its fertilisers each biscuit also contains water gel crystals to prevent the roots drying out, as this locks in moisture for slow release.

A new mess free way of feeding your plants, helpful when you forget to feed them during the season in the traditional liquid feed way.

Application rates:

1 x biscuit upto 3 litres of compost

1 x biscuit per 4 litres of compost

We deliver via Royal Mail second class large letter / small parcel service and dispatch the following working day your order is received. Orders over 2kg will be delivered in additional boxes and may arrive on different days depending on Royal Mails current lead times which may be longer than 2 days.
