A good nest is essential for Hedgehogs if they are to survive the winter. Hedgehogs often hibernate under piles of brushwood or leaves and is essential for them if they are to survive the winter.

For the best results, place the house on dry ground in a quiet sheltered spot in the garden and cover the house with a thick layer of dry leaves, twigs and other natural materials, and put some dry leaves inside too. Make sure the entrance is clear and facing south to get the light heat of the early morning rays in the winter.

The hedgehog house is designed with an extendable entrance to prevent dogs, foxes or badgers from reaching inside and is made from ethically sourced FSC-certified timber with a waterproof felt roof.
