How Much Turf Do I Need?
Working out how much turf you need to buy, to lay your new lawn can be a bit confusing. Customers often ask how big is a roll of turf, or how many rolls do i need to turf my garden.
All you really need to do is work out the area you want to cover with turf, if its a square or rectangualr shape then just measure the width and length in meters and multiply the two figures together, then add a little extra for cuts and wastage (we recommend 5% extra).
i.e the area you want to turf is 5 meters by 4 meters (5x4=20) the add 5% extra 20 x 1.05 = 21m2 or 21 rolls of turf.
